(Changes : the match between Macpherson United vs Gajah - Japanese Clementi Khalsa is considered as Macpherson Walk Over. Thus 3 goals and 3 points is awarded to Macperson)

There is a new update to the Fixture List.

As Tampines Rovers and ESE Colts (initially to take over Tampines Rovers) had pulled out from the League, North East Burghley has taken over her place.

All matches played against Tampines and Colts have to be void. And all replays with North East Burghley has been arranged and updated in the new list.

Teams affected are Woodlands Sunday Boys, Macpherson United, ESE Longville and Gajah-Clementi Khalsa.

Also, there was 1 postponed games between FIVVA Juniors & North East Burghley. New dates have been determined for these matches.

The League Table has been updated too. Please let me know if there is any mistake.

Due to the daily downpour. Woodlands field is not available as it is soaked at present and one big, grassy mudbath.

We heard the players, parents and coaches comments. We will try to play the remaining games at Newtown Primary at Commonwealth as it has better drainage system. However, we will have to switch back to Saturdays afternoon. My concern is those 13 and 12 years old local players who are having their school orientation and camps on Saturdays in the month of January. Please let me know if there is any problem with the new fixture.

We, the organizers are just volunteers like yourselves who sacrificed our time and effort to let every boy has the opportunity to play more games. And most importantly enjoy the game of soccer.

We do not earn a single cent from this tournament. We appreciate the efforts and sacrifices every team put in to make sure the league is a success. After all, it will benefit the players and their clubs.

As this is the first season, we are trying our best to sort out many differences and expectations from each team. So far, we are very happy with the way the league is run. We have very positive feedback from you all and that is encouraging.

We would like to hear your comment of improving the league, but bare in mind this league is based on the spirit of volunteerism and unselfish contribution, so it is not about running a prestige league or demanding a first class field and expensive match ball ! This is not what Community Youth League is about !

We would like to see coaches, parents and players socializing with each other. Be it from your own team or other teams. We would like to see each team tolerating one another when come to differences in opinion and most importantly respect each other. Remember! We have teams from different cultures, races and customs. Misunderstanding will arise if we could not accept and tolerate each other.

The Gajah Japanese Clementi Khalsa has shown us what respect is about. They played very hard and at the same time have shown us what a good team model they are.

We all have a wonderful afternoon and all enjoyed themselves in the friendly matches.

It was a great opportunity for everyone to try out their players and have an early feel of the standard of the league tournament.

Despite only having 7 teams turned out for the event, the atmosphere was still great.

We are all looking forward for the league to commence on 19th October. It will be an exciting league !!
